Andy joins
Tony's after playing goalie at Drexel University from 2005-2010,
a Top 25 NCAA Division I program in Philadelphia. He played in a
handful of games in his years at Drexel as the top reserve to
two All-American goalies. Andy is a graduate of the The Boys'
Latin School in Baltimore, MD where he was the starting goalie
on the third-ranked high school team in the nation in 2005. He
was also a starting lineman on the football team which won three
MIAA Championships in a row. Academically, he finished in the
top 3 of his graduating class and was also the recipient of the
school's Scholar-Athlete award.
Andy brings leadership and stability to the Tony's defense. He
also possesses excellent ball-handling and clearing skills. His
experience and knowledge of the game has helped raise the level
of play and expectations for the team. Since joining the team in
2010, Tony's has been champions in the Mardi Gras Lax
Tournament, Graham Gill Memorial Tournament, Texas A&M fall
classic, and has won 2 GCIT titles. Andy has also been the
recipient of the Rookie of the Year award (2011) and two MVP
awards (2012-2013) since joining Tony's in 2010
