Eric
Markeloff joins Tony's after finishing school at Texas A&M.
Markeloff joins a large group of Aggie alumni on Tony’s and
returns to his hometown where he won most improved player and
team heart award while at Kingwood HS. Markeloff will come in
to add depth at the goalie position with the departure of Roy
Nichols at the end of the 2006 season. Eric brings his
experience as a back-up from both Kingwood and A&M which will
allow him to step into games and make an immediate impact.
Markeloff is a great team player and will be a welcome addition
in bringing his hard work ethic and team first attitude. Eric
will look to maintain the high level of excellence of the Tony’s
Tavern goalies and make critical stops when he’s in the game.
Markeloff has shown his defensive abilities this year seeing
action in almost every game. Eric looks to continue his great
play as he helps the talented defensive unit defend the GCLA
championship.
