Dexter Spriggs returns to Tony's Tavern in 2007 to a highly talented midfield unit.  Spriggs in limited time last season established himself immediately as a force on offense with his passing ability and scoring with his cannon of a shot.  Dexter established himself as an important part of the midfield unit as his great stick skills and field vision bring another multi-dimensional player to the offense.  Dexter also brings great fundamental defense to the Tony's Tavern midfield.  Dexter comes to Tony's after standout careers at Limestone and the Silverbacks from the American Lacrosse League.  Dexter will be an important part of the team as they look to play more non-league games and to defend their title in 2007.  Spriggs will help the team with his great knowledge of the game and versatility as he makes himself a staple of the midfield unit and takes some runs on attack.  Dexter will look to help anchor the talent midfield unit in their quest to repeat as GCLA champs.

DS:  We have a lot of talent.  A good mix of players that can step up at any moment.  As we get our chemistry better we will become stronger as a team.  We have the talent and the characters on the team to have a great year.  I'm looking forward to getting a whole season in this year.
