Tony's Tavern beats the heat playing indoor this summer

Tony's Tavern started their indoor season on July 11th down at Southwest Indoor Soccer. The team came out with a 19-3 victory in week 1 facing the Houston Predators and moved their record to 2-0 after week 2 with a win over PBR 10-7.

The team will keep playing games indoor all summer. So come out and support the team. Check back for updates on results as the indoor season progresses.

Tony's Tavern player competes in Lacrosse World Championships

Long time Tony's Tavern veteran, Rene Kozarsky headed to Manchester to compete with Team Mexico in their inaugural tournament. He is a founding member of both Tony's Tavern and Team Mexico and is looking to bolster his international games resume. Kozarsky will retire from playing after the World Games and the team wishes him the best of luck. Rene represent Tony's well and thanks for all the hard work over the years.

Tony's Tavern gets win over San Antonio Lax bats 11-3

Tony's Tavern played the Laxbats on a rainy day at Houston Christian HS. Both teams had a great time and got in a good day of lacrosse.

#33 - Jacque Passino

Jacque Passino rejoined Tony’s Tavern in 2008. He is one of the last players on the team to start with Club Texas. Rene Kozarsky and Jacque Passino are the last remaining 2003 Club Texas Alumni on the team. Jacque returns to Tony’s Tavern after finishing college at Ole Miss. Passino played his college lacrosse at Wingate University on scholarship before leaving to finish school at Old Miss. Passino brings great offensive awareness to a potent Tony's Tavern offense. He's willing to do the little things to help the team win whether it’s grabbing a ground ball or setting picks on offense. Jacque plays solid defense and does a good job clearing the ball.
